Lloyd George Wilson, 80, Osawatomie, died March 30, 2015, at Life Care Center of Osawatomie.

Lloyd was born September 28, 1934, in Paola, KS, to George and Elsie Miller Wilson. He was raised in Parker, KS, and graduated from Parker High School in 1952. After high school he worked for the railroad and was later drafted in the Army, where he served in Germany for two years. After his discharge he went to work for Smith & Loveless in Lenexa as an electrician where he worked for 26 ½ years.

Lloyd was united in marriage to Rosemary Fenoughty on June 4, 1960, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Osawatomie. They became the parents of four children, Diana, Mark, Mike and Steve.
He lived on a farm most of his life where he enjoyed raising cattle and farming. A hobby was buying and selling land. He also enjoyed buying cars and trucks.

Lloyd’s true passion was his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He never missed a sporting event or any other activity where they were involved. He also loved the many children he and Rosemary babysat.

Lloyd was known for his giving nature. He got great pleasure out of giving to others, especially those who helped him.
He was a past member of the B.P.O.E. Elks.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael Joseph Wilson.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary, daughter, (Mary) Diana Neal (Allen), and two sons, Mark Allen and Stephen Michael (Noelle), all of Osawatomie; five grandchildren: Clint Freeman (Ashley) of Lawrence, KS, Lance Freeman (Sloane) of Medicine Lodge, KS, Garry Wayne Wilson (Candace) of Mound City, Paige Johnson (Brant) and Blake Wilson, of Paola; three great-grandchildren, Bella Freeman, Mason Freeman and Bryson Wilson; four step grandchildren: Tara Beery (Raymond), Samantha Giffin (Chance), Austin and Shay Neal; four step great-grandchildren: Lane Beery, Rayce Beery, Rhylie Giffin and Bailie McCune; sister, Kathryn Burnett (John) of Overland Park, KS, and brother, Howard Wilson (Doris) of Garnett, KS.
