Glenn E. Davis, age 70, of Belton, Missouri, formerly of Fontana, Kansas, passed away October 9, 2015 at Villa Saint Francis, Olathe, Kansas.

Glenn was born November 23, 1944 in Springfield, Missouri. He was the youngest of five children born to Claud Aubry and Nina (Rutter) Davis. He grew up in Springfield and Wichita. He attended Campus High School in Wichita.

Glenn was married September 25, 1963 in Wichita to Elaine Kiger. They made their home in Wichita and became the parents of two children. They moved from Wichita to Fontana, Kansas in 1973. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1988.

Glenn’s career was engraving. The majority of his career was spent working for his brother at Claud Davis Engraving. He had worked as an engraver for more than 30 years.

He enjoyed motor sports, cars, square dancing, collecting die cast cars, building model cars, and traveling on cruise ships. When his son was in boy scouts, Glenn was a boy scout volunteer. It was while he was square dancing that he met his companion Jane McGuire.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom Creviston.

He is survived by his daughter Sandra Hays and her husband Mark of rural Parker, Kansas; his son Daryl Davis and his wife Brenda of Junction City, Kansas; his sister Gloria Eagleburger of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; two brothers Claud Davis (Jacque) of Paola and Johnny Davis (Sandy) of Fairland, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Kacy Nickell, Kelsy Savage, Austin Davis, and Bethany Davis; two step-grandchildren Molly and Maddy; 6 great grandchildren Ryan, Timothy, Brooklynn, Adalynn, Ashlynn, and Chanceler; many other relatives and friends.
