Kathryn Jean Osborne, age 71, of Osawatomie, Kansas died August 6, 2014 at her home. She was born May 5, 1943 to Thomas Wayne and Hazel Lucille Scantlin in Pratt, Kansas.

Kathryn (Kay) lived in Kansas until 1950 when her family moved to Colorado. In 1956, she moved to Denver where she graduated from Adams City High School in 1961 and married her high school sweetheart, Larry L. Osborne, June 10, 1961. To this union two sons were born Larry L. In 1980, they went into full time ministry at North Side Baptist Church. Kay served in the office, taught women’s classes, helped with the day care school, and did counseling.

In February 1990, the couple moved to Osawatomie where her husband has been the Pastor at Victory Baptist Church to the present time. Kay taught women’s classes and did some counseling, and helped her husband as needed through the years.
