Christopher Scott Cawby, age 51, of Osawatomie, Kansas, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at his home.

Chris was born July 30, 1963 at Paola, Kansas. He was the second of three boys born to John David Cawby and Lois Arlene (Briggs) Cawby Brown. Chris graduated from Prairie View High School with the Class of 1981.

Chris worked as a siding installer for many years.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and loved animals. He had a special canine friend Zeus, a Great Dane/Lab mix. His feline companion was Einstein.

He is survived by his parents John Cawby (Joanne) of Mound City, Kansas; his mother Lois Brown of the home; two daughters Sarah and Samantha Cawby of Drexel, Missouri; two brothers David Cawby and Kenneth Cawby both of Osawatomie; two nephews David James and Justin Cawby; three step brothers Kelly Doty, Terry Doty, and Tony Doty; other relatives and friends.
