Ernest Paul Claytor, Jr., age 49, of Osawatomie, Kansas, died February 20, 2015 at his home.

Ernie was born March 22, 1965 at Melbourne, Florida. He was the son of Ernest P., Sr., and Mary Frances (Walker) Claytor. He attended school in Melbourne, Florida and Prairie View High School in LaCygne.

Ernie was a traveler, moving from Florida to Kansas in 1979. He moved back to Florida a few times before settling back in Kansas in 2006.

He worked as a supervisor for Gordon Energy and Drainage out of Olathe in the 1990s. He was forced to take disability due to his health in 2000.

Ernie was a craftsman, known for making something out of nothing. He was an amazing cook and was always cleaning. In his younger years in Florida he was a clam hunter and fisherman. Whenever Ernie would visit his children, he always brought gifts and made sure he made them laugh before leaving them.
